Do You Need Help With Phone Systems VoIP Networks

Welcome To The World Of Telecomunications Information Blog

I thought I would write a short article about telecommunications solutions. I have been in the telecoms business well over 20 years things have changed so much everything is going software server based. For example I have been testing SIP trunking for about a year now and I must say this is the way forward. Lets look at in more detail. I have British Telecom broadband average connection speed I use Sip Gate and I must say they are quite good. I have a server which is Linux based and Trix box software and SIP phones I use Polycom as I feel they are the best out there.

That's it it then needs to be installed and programmed which can take a couple of days with this solution I have got auto attendant voicemail call recording. And one really neat feature if I am out the phone is twinned with my mobile so I never miss a call.

Remember Skype solutions are great if you talk to another skype user as it is free of charge but if you call a mobile or land line there is a charge.

So i think its going to change the way we do our communications very soon.

Well what can I do help you the business user well if you are moving or starting a new business venture I can help you get started. For example you will need lines this can be Analogue or Digital lines i.e. ISDN 2e or ISDN 30e lines and now SIP lines. Then you need a system! You ask yourself what do I need how much is this going to cost me. I get asked this question every day.

Lets look at in more detail lets do an example you want 10 lines 20 handsets that sounds simple enough then you go to google and type in phone systems you get pages and pages of telecoms company's saying how good they are!! There three top systems out there first one is Panasonic UK they have been around for many years now and they make really good systems BUT they have not really got there act together with Voice over IP so if you want a simple reliable solution Panasonic is a good choice.

Now lets look at Mitel or Inter-Tel you ask why two names well quite simple really Mitel purchased Inter-Tel a year ago for a huge some I think it was about 600 million dollars. So lets look at this solution in more detail I must say I have always liked this solution the price well its remarkable how they can do it you get a lot of software for your dollar it come standard with Sip trunking auto attendant voicemail ISDN lines and analogue ideal for home workers or networking other sites manual record facility.

Now for the last contender is the Aastra system I have got mixed feelings for this solution its targetted for the small to medium sized companies. One really strong feature is there Dect cordless solution there is nothing out there wich can get near it for this hDigital handsets they are getting better. Yes Aasta do SIP trunking but be warned they do not always work very well.

So there you haver it I do hope I have helped a bit in this confusing world of telecoms.
